ABOUT NORTHAMPTON TEA KWON-DO SCHOOL

Northampton Taekwon-Do School is professionally run by Ian Ferguson, a former British, European and World Champion with 34 years experience. Voted Instructor of the year by two separate associations (TAGB & BNMAA) and described by 'Taekwon-Do & Korean Martial Arts' magazine as one of the most successful competition fighters ever! Ian has produced many black belts who themselves have gone on to become British and World Champions, and successful Taekwon-Do instructors; and Deborah, UKITF silver medallist (as seen on GMTV).

The training atmosphere is relaxed, friendly and safe. You will NOT be placed under pressure as a beginner, the pace is gradual. It will increase as you progress and become more confident but we work up to that level together step by step.

The APTI philosophy on teaching is simple - if a student comes to train with us with limited confidence, placing them under pressure in the early stages will not improve their confidence, but may well destroy what little confidence they already had!
